Local school takes on Wirral Grammar
Castle Rushen High School's first fifteen got their season off to a great start on Thursday.
The team beat Wirral Grammar at their Merseyside Ground, 38-12.
An early try from Jacob Halstein got the game going.
Drew Fleming, Keiran Maddrel and Django Kinley also got points up on the leaderboard.
Conversions came from one of the team's youngest players, Harry Swayne.
The team's focus now moves towards the school shield, and the fast approaching 'Big One' against King William's College in November.
