Whites open up ten point advantage
The Manx Football season restarted with Premier League leaders Corinthians gaining an important win over their nearest challengers.
They fought back to beat Rushen 6-3 at Ballafletcher thanks to goals from Dan Simpson (2), Sean Doyle (2), Luke Murray and Danny Gerrard.
Rushen led 3-2 at half-time.
Corinthians are 10 points clear at the top but Rushen have a game in hand.
Elsewhere in the top flight, third-placed St. Mary's were held to a 2-2 draw by Old Boys, Peel beat Douglas Athletic 1-0 to move nearer to safety, Douglas Royal moved out of the relegation places after a 4-3 victory over Ramsey and bottom-of-the-table St. John's got a point away to Laxey, with the game finishing 2-2.
