Costain double seals victory
Corinthians finished as winners of Group B in the Nedbank Floodlit Cup on Sunday.
Lisa Costain gave the Ballafletcher side an 11th minute lead, however Peel equalised a minute later courtesy of an Eleanor Gawne effort.
Costain netted what proved to be the winner in the closing stages of the match via the penalty spot.
Corinthians played most of the match with only 10 players.
The match was played 30 minutes each way as the slot at the Bowl had already over-run from the previous matches that same day.
Both teams had already qualified before the match and will meet again in the semi-finals on Sunday.
