
Island champion Jonathan Corke finished an impressive fourth in the English Golf Union County Championship.
The Rowany player scored an opening round of 75 before shooting a 71 two-under par to finish on 146 – just two behind the eventual winner, England junior captain Tommy Fleetwood of Lancashire, who triumphed in a play-off.
A total of 24 county champions competed on the Hotchkin Copurse at Woodhall Spa.
