Howard Quayle won the election with a majority of 362, with Paul Craine second and outgoing Minister for Social Care Martyn Quayle in third place.
On Mandate today (Friday), Mr Quayle said if the Island was quick on its feet it could capitalise on any changes in the economic situation:
