Quayle wins it in extra time

Joe Quayle's strike in extra time goal saw St Georges beat Ramsey 2-1 to lift the 2018/19 Cowell Cup.

Geordies broke the deadlock through Tom Chatel, to justify their tag as favourites heading into the match.

But with time running out in the regulation 90 minutes, Ryan Kinrade came to Ramsey's rescue to force an additional half an hour.

However, Island player Quayle - who has been selected for the Inter-Island Games football tournament in Ynys Mon - sealed victory to ensure the trophy went to Glencrutchery Road.
