Good shooting despite the cold
Harry Creevy got his outdoor shooting season off to a stunning start at the Sinclair Range in St. John's.
He won the first round of the 50 metre Osborne Carpets event with a total score of 599.0 despite the chilly conditions.
As the so-called summer season got underway, Creevy said it was the coldest he has shot in during his long career.
Tracey Skelton finished second on 597.5 with Gemma Kermode third on 595.3.
The "B" class winner was Sharon Drysdale with an excellent score of 596.0 and Rhys Keown shot 575.8 to take the "C" class honours.
