Squad and coach Sally Green scooped three accolades between them
Members of the Isle of Man women's national cricket team have paid tribute to the work and support of their coaching staff following triple success for Manx cricket at the 2023 Isle of Man Sports Awards.
The women's squad were named Team of the Year whilst coach Sally Green took the Coach of the Year accolade as well as receiving the latest Leonie Cooil Courage & Inspiration Award.
Among the team's highlights in 2023, a clean sweep of three victories in a bi-lateral series against Austria was followed by winning the ECN Continental Cup in Romania in August last year.
Players Becky Corkish, Bekkie Webster, Bliss Murtagh and Lucy Barnett also referenced how the squad continues to gel as a unit going forward:
