IOMCA says Chris Chambers will bring 'fresh approach' to the setup
The Isle of Man Cricket Association (IOMCA) has confirmed the appointment of a new men's national team coach.
Chris Chambers - who is currently Women and Girls Pathway Manager at Lancashire County Cricket Club - is set to take up the position.
Mr Chambers' previous roles have also included assisting at the Melbourne Renegades in the Women's Big Bash League and Lancashire men's programme through to second-team level.
He'll be joined by assistant coach Clinton Perren - former first-class cricketer in Australia with Queensland and who is also currently working within the Lancashire pathway.
The IOMCA believe these appointments will help bring a 'fresh approach' to the men's national setup on Island.
One of Mr Chambers' responsibilities will be selecting a senior men's T20 squad for the upcoming ICC Men's T20 World Cup Sub-Regional Qualifiers taking place in Italy from 9-16 June.
