Meanwhile Crosby victorious in nail-biting Blincoe Cup showdown
A commanding performance from Peel & St John's has seen the club win this year's Tinker Cup.
The westerners beat Castletown by eight wickets in the final held at King William's College on Sunday (10 August).
After winning the toss and choosing to field first, Peel & St John's restricted Castletown to 146 all-out after 38.5 overs.
In response, the western side were able to overhaul that total in 25 overs and dropping only two wickets in the process and standout out batting displays from Eddie Beard (65 not-out) and Phil Littlejohns (29 not-out).
This latest success is Peel & St John's' second trophy in two weeks after also securing the Karran Weekend League trophy at the start of the month.
Elsewhere at the weekend the final of the 2025 Blincoe Cup took place with Crosby 2nds clinching the title with a win on the last ball in a thrilling contest against Peel & St John's 2nds.
Heading into the final over and requiring 16 to win, Crosby managed to surpass that requirement with a decisive, last-ball strike from Adi Malikireddy to take victory by one run.
