New initiative aims to give kids fun first experience of cricket
A brand new programme to get kids into cricket has begun.
CricStart is for girls and boys between 3-9-years-old and is the work of the Isle of Man Cricket Association with hopes of providing kids with a fun first experience of the sport.
How it works:
Registration is £50 and with that, every child will receive:
• Eight 60 minute sessions from trained CricStart Facilitators
• A club membership
• A CricStart backpack including bat, ball, water bottle, cap and t shirt
The CricStart programme is being delivered by six clubs across the Isle of Man:
• Crosby CC
• Cronkbourne CC
• Castletown CC
• Finch Hill CC
• Ramsey CC
• Peel & St Johns CC
