Car vandals tear up Ballacloan turf
A football club in the north of the Island is appealling for witnesses after their pitch was left damaged by a car.
Officials from Ramsey FC say a vehicle has deliberately driven over their playing surface at the Ballacloan Stadium next to Mooragh Park, causing damage to the turf.
They say the incident, which is believed to have taken place on Wednesday night (Nov 7) has been reported to the police.
A committee member told Manx Radio the damage shouldn't affect tomorrow's (10 Nov) JCK Combination Division 2 fixture with Gymns.
