Cummins 'very excited' for new chapter with Burrows Engineering

Manxman happy to strike deal swiftly to begin preparations

Manx TT competitor Conor Cummins says he's 'very excited' for a new chapter in his racing career with Burrows Engineering/RK Racing in 2025.

It was confirmed this week Cummins would join John Burrows' setup for next year's races following an eight-year spell with the Milenco by Padgett's Motorcycles squad.

The 'Ramsey Rocket' will ride BMW machinery for his new team, something he had chance to get to know when he rode an FHO Racing bike at the Armoy Road Races in July.

Getting the deal done now, the Island racer says, means he can get to training and preparing well in advance of the latest campaign

Speaking on what led him to the move, he says his professional relationship with Mr Burrows in the sport goes back some time:

Cummins endured a frustrating TT this year - retiring from two of the three races he took part which included the Superbike TT and Supersport TT Race 1.

His only finish came in the Superstock TT Race where he manage eighth place before he withdrew from the remainder of the meeting the day after on 7 June.

His runout at Armoy on the FHO machinery was a first return to the meeting in 11 years and he managed a best finish of seventh in the Supersport race.
