Manxman in Great Britain squad for next month's races

Isle of Man cyclist, Matthew Bostock has been selected to represent Great Britain at the 2026 Lloyds Tour of Britain next month.

The Manxman - who claimed gold at the 2026 Commonwealth Games earlier this month - is one of six competitors selected for the national side.

Joining Bostock in the GB lineup will be Jacob Bush, Elliot Rowe, William Smith, Oliver Wood and Ben Wiggins.

The tour will feature five races in five days from Wednesday, 2 September to Sunday, 6 September - starting on day one in Lincoln and finishing on day five in the Scottish Borders region in Earlston.

Also joining Bostock at the tour will be his teammate from the 2026 Commonwealth Games, Ben Swift, who is part of the Netcompany INEOS squad for the event.

More generally, this will be the second time the Isle of Man has been represented at this year's Tour of Britain meetings after Ruby Oakes was part of the Great Britain team for the women's tour from Wednesday, 19 August to Sunday, 23 August.
