Manxman headed for China next week

Isle of Man rider, Matthew Bostock has been named in the Great Britain squad for this month's UCI Track World Championships.

The Manxman is one of 20 riders selected for the national side heading to the event in Shanghai, China from 14-18 October.

He's one of six competitors chosen for the Men's Endurance lineup alongside Henry Hobbs, Noah Hobbs, Mark Stewart, Ethan Vernon and Ollie Wood.

Bostock heads into the championships after an unforgettable summer on the track in which he won gold for the Isle of Man in the Men's 40km Points Race at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

Outside of that, he has also claimed multiple British titles in track disciplines during 2026 so far.

The championships are due to be broadcast on BBC iPlayer and BBC Two each day from 14-18 October.
