Meghan Barker fastest female during IoM championship race
Matthew Bostock has won this year's Nick Corkill Tour of the North cycling race.
In a race which couple as the Isle of Man National Championships Road Race, the local rider took overall honours in a time of one hour, 33 minutes and 23 seconds.
It was nearly a minute clear of second-placed Callum Salisbury who completed the course in one hour, 34 minutes 15.96 seconds whilst rounding out the top three was Ivan Sorby in third (one hour, 34 minutes 39.76 seconds).
Elsewhere, Meghan Barker was the fastest female competitor in a time of one hour, 47 minutes 17.33 seconds.
Second in the women's race was Jess Pickavance (one hour, 47 minutes 32.17 seconds) narrowly beating Abi Clayton who secured third (one hour, 47 minutes 32.37 seconds).
Meanwhile in the junior classifications, Alec Sorby impressed to be the fastest junior and seventh overall, crossing the line in one hour, 37 minutes 39.79 seconds.
The fastest youth competitor was Zach Jones in ninth overall (one hour, 37 minutes 40.02 seconds).
