38-year-old in Astana Qazaqstan squad for five-day event
Mark Cavendish is returning to racing action in Europe later today (8 May).
The 38-year-old has been named in the Astana Qazaqstan squad to take on the Tour de Hongrie which runs from today until Sunday.
The 'Manx Missile's last outing was at the Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkiye late last month following a period out due to illness.
Today's first stage is due to get underway at around 10.10am UK time.
