Island team will head to Ireland this week as defending champions
Cycling Club Isle of Man has named a strong lineup as it aims to defend its title at this week's Ras Tailteann road race in Ireland.
In what will be the Manx team's fifth appearance at the meeting, five riders have been selected to contest the event from tomorrow until Sunday (20-24 May).
They are Great Britain track cycling competitor, Matthew Bostock; local athletes, Zac Walker and Owen Collins as well as guest riders, Rowen Baker and Daniel Stone.
Cycling Club Isle of Man soared to victory in the 2025 event with guest competitor, George Kimber going on to win overall classification.
The 71st edition of Ras Tailteann will feature five stages, covering 785 kilometres in total - starting in Portlaoise on stage one with the final finish on stage five in Dunboyne.
