Cycling: Hannay happy with progress heading into new season

Manx rider recently signed for new squad for 2025

Manx pro cyclist Tyler Hannay believes he took a big step forward in 2024 as he prepares for a new season with a new team this year.

Recently it was confirmed the 21-year-old is joining 7 Eleven Kliqq Roadbike Philippines for 2025 after his previous team Saint Piran folded at the end of the previous campaign.

Among his notable performances in the last twelve months, Hannay claimed his first ever UCI stage win during stage six of the Tour of Poyang Lake in China in September.

Hannay isn't being too specific with his personal objectives right now and says he's instead focusing on settling into his new squad and a new culture:

Meanwhile, the Island competitor also recently set up his own YouTube channel covering multiple aspects of being a professional cyclist.

His videos currently cover tips and advice for riders and he's also planning to use it to document his journey in 2025.

What's more, Hannay hopes it can help and inspire the next generation of riders to get involved in the sport:
