Hutchinson & Minay join Harrogate Nova for 2027
Two Isle of Man cyclists have been signed by a UK squad which aims to help youth and junior riders reach professional level in the sport.
Local competitors, Thomas Hutchinson and Daniel Minay are two of ten riders that will form the Harrogate Nova Race Team's junior lineup for 2027.
Confirming the signing of both Island riders, Harrogate Nova describes Hutchinson as having 'an aggressive, attacking riding style which will be a great attribute to the team.'
Elsewhere, they add that Minay joins having been 'consistent throughout 2026 on both track and road.'
Announcing its junior setup for the year ahead, Harrogate Nova says the team goals include 'have fun', 'nurture a team spirit' and 'provide a platform to perform nationally and internationally'.
Describing its junior pathway programme, the team says it aims to put competitors 'on a clear, supported journey from local club level all the way to the professional ranks.'
The team itself competes in both British national and international meetings, including British Junior Nationals and elite UCI 2.1 stage races across Europe.
