Rider wins fourth round of Marsh Tracks Summer Series
Cycling Club Isle of Man's Jamie Fletcher has secured the club's first win since it made it's debut last month.
Fletcher took the win in the fourth round of the Marsh Tracks Summer Series in Rhyl on Wednesday (29 June), following on from a strong performance in the previous stage which saw him finish third.
An aggressive race saw plenty of riders trying to get off the front and avoid the bunch sprint but the breakaway just wasn't quite able to get clear.
Come the final stages of the race, Fletcher was able to bide his time going into the final bend of the course, before getting himself into the slipstream of the leader before launching his sprint to the finish.
Jamie will be back in action again alongside CC IoM teammate James Harrison this weekend at the Stockton Velo29 Grand Prix.
