Manx rider part of Great Britain squad for 2024 event
Isle of Man pro cyclist Max Walker has begun his campaign at this year's Tour of Britain.
Walker - who currently competes for the Astana Qazaqstan Development Team - is in the Great Britain squad for the 2024 event running from today until Sunday (3-8 September).
Joining him in the team are Max Greensill, Louis Sutton, Ben Wiggins, Matthew Holmes and Michael Gill.
This year's meeting is beginning today in the Scottish Borders region with a 181.9km stage in and around Kelso.
Elsewhere, Island resident and former world scratch race and British national road champion Ben Swift is also taking part for INEOS Grenadiers.
