Youngster joins FTP Racing for new season
Isle of Man cyclist Ruby Oakes has joined a new team ahead of the 2026 season.
She has signed with FTP Racing after previously competing for DAS-Hutchinson.
On joining her new team Oakes said: "I am happy to be a part of the FTP team.
"I’d noticed FTP at Team Cup races and they had a really good vibe."
The 19-year-old made her tour debut at the Tour des Flanders, however she did not finish the event.
She also competed in the Tour of Norway Women where she came 68th in the general classification.
Oakes added: "Billy [Oliver - Team Manager] has been really positive after I reached out and now I’m looking forward to helping his team to continue to be successful."
