D&D fightback to earn a point
Douglas and District gained the result of the day as only three games survived the torrential rain in Manx football.
They fought back from 3-1 down to draw 4-4 at Michael in JCK Division Two.
The hosts looked to be in control as they raced 3-1 ahead by the break only for D&D to hit back and take a 4-3 lead through Rob McAuliff, Dan Scott, Kevin Schofield and Daniel Clague-Stewart.
Frazier Campbell, Jay Chatwood, Kevin Pulman (penalty) and Dean Wales found the net for the home side.
Elsewhere in the division, Pulrose ended a poor run by winning 7-1 at basement battlers Governor’s Athletic.
Barry English (three), Craig Cowin (two), Owen Quayle and Dale Walker grabbed the goals.
In JCK Combination Two, Pulrose defeated Governors Athletic 8-1.
