Event believed to have attracted record numbers this year

The dates have been confirmed for the Manx National Rally in 2027.

Manx Auto Sport has announced the next edition of the racing series will be held from Thursday, 22 April to Saturday, 24 April next year.

The organisation adds anyone requiring details on ferry travel and accommodation for next year's meeting should get in touch via email on info@iomevents.com.

Further details on entries and regulations will be announced in due course.

This year's three-day event is believed to have attracted record numbers of competitors and was also understood to have been the biggest single entry for a rally in the 60-year history of closed roads rallying on the Island.

In total, 170 cars were registered to participate with the event also forming part of no fewer than five different championships.

It formed the second phase of this year's ProTyre Asphalt Rally Championship; a double-header round of the Fuchs Motorsport UK British Historic Rally Championships and a round of the newly-formed Rogert Albert Clark Historic Asphalt Rally Championship.

Outside of those, the Manx National Rally also welcomed contenders from the ANWCC Stage Rally Championship and Manx Stage Rally Championship.
