Datzer joining McCormack at Roadhouse Macau for TT 2025

Team 'confident' of 'highly successful' year ahead

German rider David Datzer will join Brian McCormack at the Roadhouse Macau team for this year's Isle of Man TT Races.

It's been confirmed both competitors will run the team's BMW M1000 RR machinery in the 1000cc classes.

Elsewhere, the duo will campaign Triumph power in the Supersport category under the banner of Global Robots/PHR Performance.

On top of those commitments, 41-year-old McCormack is also planning to take on the Supertwin class on a Global Robots Aprilia RS660.

2024 IRRC Superbike Champion Dazter is describing the prospect of racing for team with the 'structure' of Roadhouse Macau as 'a dream' and is 'very happy for the season ahead.'

Datzer has also announced he will be bringing his own TW-3 Racing BMW's to the squad.

Meanwhile McCormack - an ever-present at the TT since his debut in 2010 - adds he's 'confident it'll be a good year' for the crew and they remain optimistic for a 'highly successful TT 2025.'

Last year's TT was a challenging one for Datzer who crashed out at the 11th Milestone in the Supertwin TT Race 1, heavily affecting his own schedule for the racing fortnight.

He did manage to return for the Senior TT but was a retirement during the race.

McCormack managed top-20 finishes in six of the seven races he was involved in last year with his best result coming in the Superbike TT in which he finished tenth.
