Prize pot of over £14,500 up for grabs at Billown Course

Several defending champions from 2023 will form the lineup at this year's Pre-TT Classic Road Races.

The meeting's promoters the Southern 100 Club says a 'quality entry' has been received in 2024 for the races on the Billown Course due to take place from 24-26 May.

The organisation's confirmed among those to compete will be winners from twelve months ago such as Joe Yeardsley, Barry Davidson, Rhys Hardisty and Keith Shannon.

The most popular classes are set to be the Junior 350cc Classic, Senior 500cc Classic and Senior Superbike Post Classic.

Elsewhere, officials have been encouraged by entry levels for the remaining solo fields as well as the two sidecar races.

Following the pattern of previous years there will be ten races taking places with a total prize pot of £14,540 up for grabs across the events.

The event will begin with the opening practice sessions on the Friday evening (24 May) and Saturday afternoon (25 May).

The first four races are then due to be held from 6.20pm until no later than 9pm on Saturday evening.

Sunday, 26 May will see the remaining six races held with roads currently due to close at 1pm and reopen no later than 6pm.
