Simpson knocked out by Kayleigh Dawson
Defending Isle of Man Ladies Golf Champion Lynda Simpson is out of the 2020 tournament at Castletown Golf Links.
The home player lost her quarter-final 3 & 1 to Kayleigh Dawson.
It was a great night for the Dawson family as Lea knocked out last year's runner-up Shirley Price by a 6 & 4 margin.
Emma Noon and Heather Skinner were the other players to qualify for the semi-finals.
The men's semi-finals will feature four Castletown players in Gerald Bradley, Andrew Challenor, Jon Corke and PJ Vermeulen.
The order of play for the semi-finals this evening is:
5.15pm Jon Corke v Andrew Challenor
5.25pm PJ Vermeulen v Gerald Bradley
5.35pm Emma Noon v Kayleigh Dawson
5.45pm Heather Skinner v Lea Dawson
