Peel’s Daniel Dickinson hammered a startling 142 in the Standard Bank Twenty20 game against Finch Hill.
Batting first the westerners lost a wicket in the second over when Ben Bennett removed one of the openers.
Coming in at number three, Daniel quickly took control and turned in an amazing display of big hitting.
He was finally caught by Andy Brown off the bowling of Peter Foxton as Peel ended their twenty overs on a mammoth 214 for 3.
In a prolific season, Daniel has now hit over one thousand runs at an average of 67 and notched two centuries and six fifties.
In reply Finch Hill struggled to match the Peel total and were dismissed for 94. Roy Corlett made 25 and Paul Sime took three wickets for 14.
