Over 35 ladies reach last eight too
After their fine win in the third round of the England Men’s Trophy on Saturday, Bacchas A have been drawn at home to Didsbury Northern in the quarter-finals.
Usually, visiting teams do not travel to the Island but Rugby and East Warwickshire did in the last 16 and Bacchas are now hoping Didsbury Northern do the same.
The tie is due to be played on the weekend of February 25 and 26.
Meanwhile, Bacchas women's over 35 team team have matched their male counterparts, making it through to the quarter-finals of the English Hockey Masters Shield.
They beat Driffield 5-4 yesterday (Sunday), thanks to goals from Sandy Moore, Niamh Goddard, Sam Franklin and Donna Harrison, who got two.
They’ve been drawn at home to Wishbech ladies.
