Organisers say they are determined to secure a long-term future for Rally Isle of Man.
That's despite the cancellation of next month's event and the loss of British and Historic Championship status for next year.
Media officer Chris Boyd admits getting the rally back to the prestigious level it was at will be a very hard road to follow, after all the recent problems:
