FC Isle of Man welcome side to The Bowl this weekend

FC Isle of Man's manager says he's expecting a 'massive challenge' this weekend as his side prepares to return to Manx shores.

Ten days since their last outing, 'The Ravens' will be back in action in the NWCFL Premier Division tomorrow night (15 August) when they host Ramsbottom United at The Bowl.

This fixture between the two last season ended in a thrilling 4-4 draw in which FC Isle of Man goalkeeper, Adam Killey, scored an equalising header deep into second-half stoppage time.

Having seen his squad claim four points from a possible six in their first two matches of this campaign, Lee Dixon hopes his side can keep up its mentality of working hard for each other against a testing opponent:

Meanwhile, like their hosts this weekend, Ramsbottom United have also made a strong start in 2026/27 having also claimed a win and a draw in their opening two contests.

On head-to-head meetings more generally, there's little to separate both sides - of the six games between them so far, Ramsbottom United have the slight edge with three wins compared to FC Isle of Man's two.

The only draw between the sides was the eight-goal epic in January this year.

FC Isle of Man vs Ramsbottom United takes place tomorrow at The Bowl in Douglas, kicking-off at 6pm.
