
Douglas secured their second victory of the season in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division Two on Saturday.
They defeated Moore by 34 points to 12 at home.
Tries from Wil Latta (two), Bryn Snellgrove, Ryan Maddox and Adam Howarth did the damage with Snellgrove also netting three conversions and a penalty.
There was disappointment for Vagabonds, however, in Division One as they went down 35-0 at Winnington Park.
In the opening games of the Shimmin Wilson Manx Shield, there were victories for Vagabonds B, Southern Nomads and Douglas B.
They were 24-7 winners at Ramsey B.
Ben Campbell (two), John Bateson and Niall Bradley chipped in with the tries for Douglas with two conversions from Johnny Howarth.
