Douglas never recovered from a slow start in South Lancashire Cheshire Division Two on Saturday.
They trailed 15-0 after 15 minutes in their match at Ashton-on-Mersey and, despite an encouraging second half fightback, left themselves too much to do.
Ryan Maddox and Alex Nicholson went over for their tries with Bryn Snellgrove converting a penalty and a conversion as they went down 32-15.
Ramsey drew 15-15 with Knutsford in South Lancashire Cheshire Division Three.
In the Shimmin Wilson Manx Shield, a late try from Josh Karen clinched Ramsey B a 19-14 victory over Castletown.
Karen went over three minutes from time to seal the victory.
He also scored an earlier try, as did Aaron Curphey, with Matthew Cheeseman notching two conversions.
Tries from Nick Kieswetter and Sam Peel, both converted by Peel, had put Town – who led 7-0 at the break - in the ascendancy.
In the other matches, Douglas B were 21-0 winners over Vagabonds B, while Southern Nomads thrashed Emerging Nomads.
Vagabonds won 43-5 at Leodensians II in the RFU Women’s National Challenge North One League.
