Injury time penalty seals win
Douglas battled the elements and Stockport at Port-e-Chee and came away with a priceless 8-7 win to keep them firmly in touch at the top end of North One West.
The visitors led 7-0 at the break with a try from wing Matt King and a conversion from stand off Liam McGovern.
In the second half Douglas paceman Sam Mete went in for a try.
And an injury time penalty from Bryn Snellgrove sealed the win by the narrowest of margins late on.
