Douglas Rugby Club faced stiff opposition at the weekend in the form of Ulster Division One side Ballymoney.
The mismatched fixture came about as a result of twinning arrangements between the two towns, and saw Douglas lose 52-10 despite putting in a credible performance.
From the start it was clear the visitors were the better side and they gave a text book demonstration of support play.
John Bateson and Gwyn Davies scored the tries for Douglas.
