
Douglas finally got their first win of the season with a solid home win over Sefton in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division Two.
Douglas led 9-0 at the interval after a very tight opening half in which their only points came from penalties courtesy of Bryn Snellgrove’s trusty boot.
In the second half, however, they cut loose with tries from youngsters Sam Randall and Peter Fisher, plus two more penalties from Snellgrove who also knocked over a drop goal and a conversion for a healthy looking 20-point personal tally.
