Five point festive lead for Douglas
After a two and half hour flight delay, Douglas beat New Brighton 35-10 away from home to bring down the curtain on 2016.
It leaves them with a five point lead at the top of South Lancashire/Cheshire Division One going into the new year.
Sam Randle added to his impressive tally against New Brighton with two tries and there were additional tries for Sam Reid, Carl Murray and Carl Markl-Ferns with Reid also kicking five conversions.
