North One West debut ends in triumph
Douglas’ debut in North One West ended with success when they beat Warrington 22-10 at Port-e-Chee.
A storming first half saw Douglas lead 22-0 at the break, courtesy of tries from Ralph Clarke, Carl Murray and Max Morley-Green, plus two conversions and a penalty from Bryn Snellgrove.
Warrington fought back in the second half and a try, conversion and penalty edged them closer to Douglas’ first half tally but the hosts’ defence held firm to close the game out.
