Douglas romp against arch rivals
Douglas eased their way into the Shimmin Wilson Manx Cup Final with a 40-0 victory over old rivals Vagabonds at Port-e-Chee on Friday night.
Tries from Carl Markl-Ferns and Ben Webb, plus a Bryn Snellgrove conversion, saw Douglas lead 12-0 at half-time.
A gutsy effort from the Vagas forwards in the second half was not enough to stem the tide and Douglas ran in four more tries to close the game out by a surprisingly large margin.
Max Morley-Green, Rob Todd, Adam Boyd and Webb all crossed with Snellgrove doing the honours with the boot.
Douglas will face Ramsey in the final next Saturday at the Mooragh Park.
