Team makes USL debut
Liam Doyle started for Nashville SC in their opening game of the season yesterday.
They lost 2-0 at defending champions Louisville City, who scored both their goals in the second half.
Manxman Doyle lined up in the centre of a three-man defence yesterday.
He signed for the franchise - which is making its debut in United Soccer League, the second tier of US football - in the off-season.
Nashville SC play their first home match of the season against Pittsburgh Riverhounds on Saturday next week.
