Doubles from Mike Cawte and Liam Cannon, plus one each from Andrew Chadwick and Steven Betteridge did the damage.
Onchan had only trailed 3-2 at the break and scored via Carl Miller and Mark Walmsley.
Douglas Royal’s promotion hopes were checked as they were held to a 2-2 home draw by Malew, whose goals came from Craig Howard and David Byrne. Paul Whitley and James Halliday found the net for Royal.
First half goals from Paul Quilly and Michael Hegarty, from the penalty spot, fired Braddan to a 2-0 home success over Douglas and District, while Douglas Athletic won 3-2 at neighbours Pulrose to move above them.
Barry English and Aaron Raby scored the Pulrose goals.
Ayre United bounced back from a disappointing run with a 6-0 thrashing of bottom club Ronaldsway – Jason Craine (two), Phil Quayle, Tony Corlett, Paul Jennish and Chris Duggan were the scorers.
