Footballer holds IoM record for most appearances at the games
Manx footballer Eleanor Gawne will be the flagbearer for the Isle of Man at the 2023 Island Games in Guernsey.
Gawne is the Island's most capped player with this year marking her tenth appearance at an Island Games or Inter Island Games.
She also holds the records for most goals scored and appearances at an Island Games for the Isle of Man.
Gawne will fly the flag during the opening ceremony on the evening of Saturday, 8 July with the event running until Friday, 14 July.
