Anger over appeal ruling
It's been confirmed Ellan Vannin have withdrawn from the ConIFA World Football Cup.
They decided to do so after a challenge lodged by the team about a player from Barawa was rejected by the tournament's organisers.
Ellan Vannin had been due to play Tibet in a placement match later today, after failing to make it through to the quarter-finals on goal difference.
Their place will now be taken by 'London Turkish All-Stars' for this afternoon's match, with ConIFA saying the rest of the team's fixtures will be fulfilled by other teams.
