Five-time world champion had undergone hip operation 11 weeks previous
Manx enduro legend David Knight has enjoyed a winning return to competitive action during the latest round of the British Cross Country Championship (BXCC).
On board a new Kawasaki KX450 machine, the five-time world champion took top spot in the second stage of the competition in Yorkshire completing eight laps in a time of three hours, 19 minutes 31 seconds.
He finished one lap ahead of Gethin Humphreys in second and Ricky Wiggins who finished third.
Knight's success comes only 11 weeks after he underwent a hip operation.
