England finished at the top of the medals table, after the three days of competition at the fourth Commonwealth Youth Games.
The team won a total of 77 medals, 37 of them gold, 24 silver and 16 bronze.
Australia were second overall, with 29 gold, 28 silver and 17 bronze, and South Africa finished in third place, with eight gold, seven silver and 15 bronze.
The rest of the top ten nations were New Zealand (6-6-8), Wales (5-11-10), Scotland (5-6-11), Kenya (4-4-2), Malaysia (4-2-1), India (3-3-1) and Northern Ireland (3-2-3).
The Isle of Man won its first ever medals at the international event, with Grant Halsall securing two silver medals and a bronze in the swimming pool.
