Defending Champion and three-time winner Melvyn Evans will lead a full field of 90 cars away at the start of the Manx National Rally this evening.
Unlike previous years, nearly half the total mileage will be covered on the first night.
Four stages are being used with crews tackling them twice.
The longer ones are Parville, Braaid and Marine Drive but the opener is the short, spectator friendly Port Erin run.
Melvyn Evans says you can't win the rally on the Port Erin stage....but you can easily lose it:-
