Team Tonga has arrived in the Isle of Man to compete in the Commonwealth Youth Games, after an epic journey.
Organisers feared the squad, from the South Pacific, was missing, after losing contact with them.
The athletes arrived in London yesterday (Tuesday) and headed for Liverpool, knowing nothing of the conditions in the Irish Sea.
On reaching Merseyside they learned the fast craft sailing had been cancelled, and decided to travel on the Heysham, where they caught the overnight ferry.
They arrived on Manx soil at 6am today, and were said to be 'tired but happy to be here'.
