Maria Costello made history today (Monday) when she became the first woman ever to win two podium places at the Manx Grand Prix.
But she didn't make it easy on herself, as she ran out of petrol at Governor's Bridge on the last lap of the Classic 250 race.
Desperate to claim third place, she pushed her machine to the Grandstand.
Charlie Lambert described the moment she crossed the line (listen to audio file below):
The 4-lap Class 250 race was won by Barry Davidson, at an average speed of 88.33 miles an hour, from Peter Wakefield (87.79) and Maria Costello (84.21).
