Late goal seals Norfolk victory
There was extra-time heartache for the Isle of Man in the quarter-final of the FA County Youth Cup on Saturday night.
A 113th minute header from Norfolk defender Charlie Hitch ensured the visitors emerged 2-1 winners against the Manx at the Bowl.
A last-gasp equaliser in normal time from home skipper Matty Wilkinson forced the contest into an additional 30 minutes after Lewis Johnson had headed a 32nd minute opener.
But it was Norfolk who came through to end the Isle of Man’s run in the competition.
They had reached the last eight after victories over Lancashire and Middlesex.
